One comment on “My Thoughts on the NH GOP Presidential Debate.”
Actually, Ron did have a pretty special moment. He had another Reagan-esque moment (more like a Truman/MacArthur moment) when after Romney spoke about talking to his generals about how to best bring the troops home, King asked Ron if he agreed. Ron said not exactly, as he continued quite forcefully that he is the CinC and he’ll tell the generals what to do and they’ll listen. Remember that he did to Romney in the ’08 debates too when Romney talked about consulting with lawyers before sending troops, and Ron followed up with that concept baffles him, how about just opening the Constitution and reading it. If only people who think his foreign policies are weak would watch the feisty old man in action…
IMHO don’t think he’s afraid of war at all, just unjust wars and that he would only employ the military after all other options were exhausted with consent of Congress and he’d also have clearly defined goals and an exit plan.
